We haven't finished September yet and we've already started collecting lost and found items with no labels on them. Now that cooler weather has arrived, misplaced jackets start to pile up.
You can make sure your children's jackets and other belongings make it back home by doing one simple thing:
PUT A LABEL ON IT!
These days there are lots of different kinds of labels - sew-on, stick-on, even stamp-on. Or you can keep it simple and just use a Sharpie!
No matter how you do it, labeling your child's belongings improves the chances that when they lose something at school, it will make it back home instead of adding to the lost and found.
